ARLINGTON, Texas -- Everything is bigger in Texas, especially high school football. That lesson was taught to us once again at Sunday's The Opening regional at Lamar High School.
A record-breaking 13 invitations to The Opening finals on Nike's campus in Beaverton, Oregon, were handed out at the camp. The total breaks a previous all-time high of 12 and dwarfs last weekend's six invitations in Los Angeles. Also towering over the competition was defensive tackle Kendell Jones of Killeen (Texas) Shoemaker.

Kendell Jones hulks over competition at Dallas Opening regional
